Rest in Tbilisi

How to plan a fascinating vacation in Tbilisi.

Sunny Georgia has long been famous for its wine and hospitality. Of course, its capital, the city of Tbilisi, personifies and supports these traditions as well as possible. Every year more and more tourists visit it and remain in complete awe. Today I want to talk about how much and what it costs in Tbilisi, which is definitely worth a look and, of course, what you must do when you come here.

Prices

Road

You can get to Georgia (Tbilisi) from Ukraine (Kiev) in several ways. First: by bus. A ticket for one will cost about 3400 UAH. But you can find cheaper. Travel time is approximately 63 hours. Another way is by train. Only here you need to clarify the price and schedule, as flights change frequently and there is a high probability that you will have to make several transfers. A much more convenient and quick way is to fly by plane. An air ticket from Kiev to Tbilisi will cost about 2500 UAH one way. By time, the flight takes only 2.5 hours. And of course, we don’t miss tours for rest from tour operators. You can relax well and save a lot.

Accommodation

Arriving in Tbilisi, the first thing you need is not to try to escape the wine and eat khachapuri, but to settle in. For these purposes, in the Georgian capital, you can rent a bed in a hostel from 95 UAH., And you can rent a hotel room (single standard from 400 hryvnia). There is an option to rent an apartment. In this case, you will have to pay from 700 hryvnias per day, from 4500 UAH per month.

Nutrition

You can eat in inexpensive cafes and street restaurants (the average price for a meal for one is 400 UAH). A cup of coffee (cappuccino) will cost about 42 hryvnia. Products in the supermarket are quite affordable and practically do not differ from Ukrainian ones. For example, a liter of milk - 26.5 UAH, bread (0.5 kg) - 7.37 UAH, meat - 109 UAH / kg, chicken - 59.53 UAH / kg.

Tourist places of Tbilisi

Abanotubani

In Tbilisi, you should definitely look into this place. This place has gained great popularity thanks to its baths, which are located on sulfur springs. They were built in the 17th century, but even today they have not lost their popularity. They were separated into a separate quarter in the city center. Everyone can visit here. Approximately 15 GEL (1 GEL - 8.68 hryvnia) will need to be paid for entry.

Waterfall canyon

There are several names for this place: Legvta-Heavy, Dabahanka, Tbilisi Canyon. Mistakenly, some travelers think that it was specially cut down to attract tourists. But in fact, its origin is natural. The waterfall was washed away by the waters of the Tsavkisisskali river. For a long time it was abandoned and no one was interested. However, in 2012, after the reconstruction, they noticed that it is not only beautiful, but also very atmospheric. The canyon is located near the famous sulfur baths. You just need to climb a little up the river for the Oberlianovskaya bath.

Georgia is always glad to guests, and Tbilisi - even more so. Do not miss the moment and enjoy your vacation in this beautiful city. You will like it and will undoubtedly leave only the fondest memories. And most importantly, there will be no feeling that you are a tourist there. Even if you know Georgian only 5 minutes, it will seem to you that this is your old friend, who was just waiting for you to visit.
