Road

 From Ukraine (Kiev) to Baku can be accessed as follows: by bus, by train, by plane. A bus from Kiev to Tbilisi will cost about 1300 hryvnias (about 30 hours on the way). If traveling by train is more in spirit, then this pleasure will cost from 3600 hryvnia. And, of course, the most convenient way to get to the capital of Azerbaijan is by plane. Ticket price starts from 5640 UAH.
 

Accommodation

 To begin with, it is worth changing dollars to manats - the local Azerbaijani currency. The exchange rate on August 16, 2019 is $ 1 - 1.7 manat. A tourist can rent a bed in a hostel (from 520 manats per month) and a hotel room (from 22 manats per day) for living.
 

Nutrition

 Regarding food, there are more than enough various budget restaurants and cafes in Baku, and you can also buy products in a supermarket. The average bill from a cafe for a dinner for two is 40 manat. Regarding supermarkets, food prices are affordable and will not hit your pocket. For example: bread - 0.5 manat, eggs - 2 manat, apples - 1.3 manat, rice - 2.4 manat, meat - 12 manat.

Old Baku

Often you can hear another name: Icheri Sheher. This is a part of Baku that cannot be missed. These are the oldest buildings where fortress walls have survived to our time. In addition, about 1300 families live throughout the territory. Old Baku is very respected and respected. No wonder this area received the status of a monument of architecture. The approximate foundation date is the 12th century, however, some excavations have shown that already in the Bronze Age there were settlements of people. Arriving here, be sure to look at such buildings as the Maiden’s Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs.
 

Blue Mosque

You can find the Blue Mosque or Azhdarbek on Samed Vurgun Street. This is a relatively new shrine that "grew" among the city walls on December 3, 1913. Today it is an active temple where believers can come to the service. The building itself is not very large, but neat enough. Outside and inside there is stone carving.
